| 'The purpose of this third edition of Portable Architecture remains unchanged - to show that mobile buildings are feasible, are able to fulfil many different roles, and are economically viable to build and operate. New projects have only been included if they add some new innovation in the way they have been designed, built the buildings examined in the case studies.
